A List

Hey fellas!
Recently I bought some DVDs (I decided to stop buying piracy, let's help our artists) to company me at home. Well, it's kinda out-dated but it's worth to watch :))
Also I wanna make a list for the movies I'm gonna watch this summer. Just wanna sharing with you all :))

DVD
1. G.I Joe >> forgot with whom I watched this, but the reason I bought because I want to see Lee Byunghun :))
2. Cin(t)a >> it's a great movie about differences. Learnt a lot from this movie :))
3. Benchwarmers >> the story about the underestimated guys in an underdog baseball team who's finally won the big match.
4. Superbad >> it's another just-for-fun movie.

Movie List:
1. You're Beautiful (미남이 시네요)
this is SBS's last year production but I managed to finally finished watching it. I love Kang Shin Woo's personality here :))
The story is about a new band, A.N.Jell, who's having a new member Go Minam. However Go Minam has a twin sister, Go Minyo which prepared to be a nun. The casts are Jang Geunseok, Jung Yonghwa, Lee Hongki.

2. I.R.I.S
this is the movie that makes me to buy G.I Joe. Lee Byunghun is here and, seriously, I couldn't make any comments cause I'm currently watching this. By the way this is KBS production and played the same time as You're Beautiful.

3. Despicable Me
While others have watched this -hilarious- I haven't. Don't give me any damn spoilers. Please.
Finally watched it today (2010/07/27) with Ditta, Gratje and mas Arga. 3D! Yaay :)) This movie seriously kills my day. Couldn't stop laughing and talking "poppoy poppoy" "cup cup cup poppoy poppoy" :))

4. Eclipse
I know this movie is sooooo last month, but after a months of its opening I haven't watched, yet. Maybe I'll wait for the DVD (or Star Movies).

5. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow part 1
I am a Harry Potter fans. Deep down inside, I am a geek. Seriously have to watched this movie. STAT!

6. Inception
This is Leonardo's movie. Supposed to be W-O-W. or I hope so...

7. The Sorcerer's Apprentice
I heard it's about to release this week! Would someone company me? ;))

8. Toy Story 3
This is the last chapter from Woody's adventure with Andy. I watched this and cried. In all of sudden I missed all my childhood toys (mostly only piano) cause they helped me through my childishness ;))


For now, that's all. Still looking for any options :))

summer in winter

actually i have watched this movie at the beginning of the year. it's on my top ten movies for now :))

the story basically about a guy, tom hansen (joseph gordon levitt), and a girl, summer finn (zooey deschanel), whose having different perspective on relationships. tom is a romantic and completely fooled by the graduate when he was a pre-teen who also listening to british pop music. summer is at the point where she doesn't believe in love at all.

the movie keeps back and forth from their relational ups and downs. and the whole story is told from tom's perspective. but don't worry, you won't get confused cause it has the informing event whether it be day 500 or day 1. 

 

the soundtracks. well, i gotta say it's quite unordinary. but i recommend mushaboom - feist; please, please, please let me get what i want - she and him; us - regina spektor.

skate the sherlock holmes

yesterday, on monday january 11th 2010, i declared a statement (not declared declared, more like making a decision). and yes, I'm making a new beginning. and what kind of new beginning it is, only me and God know :))

also i watched Sherlock Holmes! robert downey jr. and jude law were so uber amazing!
at first i couldn't follow the story, but i could understand eventually :))
bottom line of the story is: there is no such thing as magic or dark arts. cool huh?!
sherlock holmes (robert downey jr.) is a unique detective in old london. he solves his cases in a very unique way though police didn't like him but they have to admit if sherlock really is the best detective in his time.
dr. watson (jude law)  is a doctor and he is sherlock holmes's partner. while sherlock doing investigations recklessly, watson will always be there to cover his mess and help him fighting against thugs (he is a veteran)
 
irene adler (rachel mcadams) is a thief. also sherlock's all time lover.
 

and i skated with helen! yup, we went to mall taman anggrek to skate (cause the only ski rink in jakarta only in mall taman anggrek) then we ate at samudera suki. all you can eat! what a giant elephant we are :))

today is January 10th 2010! the tenth day! or in numerical: 10.01.10 great number, isn't it? :D

yesterday I went to Pondok Indah Mall (PIM, located in the southern part of Jakarta) and met helen. helen is my best friend, more even my lost sibling :)
and we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: the Squeakquel. finally I watched it. how happy I was!
and on this sequel, there is also a new gank called the chippettes. the chippettes are female chipmunks and the members are brittany, jeanette and eleanor. actually they adore alvin and the chipmunks, but ian hawke (chipmunks's ex-manager) made them against the chipmunks. eventually they became a family :)
and still, i love theodore. he's the cutest among all and the sensitive one. i love his chubby pinchy cheek also :)

what a day yesterday is! i love you helen :) thanks for the day.
bet the couple behind us and the waitresses were thinking "what a narcistic couple they are" haha !!

just watched Korean reality-variety show: one night two days. and yes, am gonna tell you all what kind of show this is.
fyi, this show is a total comedy freaking hilarious. you wouldn't stop laughing from the beginning. definitely a refreshment after doing assignments :))


1 night 2 days, is a South Korean reality-variety show shown on the KBS World (in Korea: KBS2). the show's members consist of Kang Ho Dong, Kim C, Lee Su Geun, Eun Ji Won, MC Mong, Lee Seung  Gi, and Kim Jong Min (returned after doing military service for 2 years) also a great pyreness bred-dog Sang Geun (yup, it is a dog!). real wild road variety is the motto to recommend viewers the various places of interest in South Korea.
In the show you also will find "Bachelors & Married Men" also "OB & YB". Those words are stand for old boy and young boy where the married men were the three oldest (Kang Ho Dong, Kim C, and Lee Su Geun) and bachelors were the three youngest members (Eun Ji Won, MC Mong, and Lee Seung Gi)

Avatar, a world beyond imagination

Finally I watched Avatar. I saw Pandora. I saw Ney'tiri and Jake Sully. Still amazed by the way, couldn't believe how James Cameron (producer/ director/ writer) could have this kind of imagination about a new planet where everything lies in harmony. Na'vi taking care the environment, the eyhwa, everything.

yup, the movie basically about sky people invading pandora. I can't help but thinking how come the sky people not be amazed with the beauty of pandora? I, myself, really amazed with the fluoroscens leaves, flowers, trees. Even one of my friends, Ocha -who studied Forestry Management- amazed and inspired by pandora to study harder so she could help Indonesia forests.
But there's no holywood movie without romance.
Together, they fall in love. And they didn't say "I LOVE YOU" instead they're saying "I SEE YOU". geez, it's so sweet. You don't have to say "love" words to express the love.
And this is Pandora. You should watch the movie to feel and be amazed with the fluoroscens.

Bottom line is: Avatar rocks! And I can't wait to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 also Sherlock Holmes :)
